Mase’s Dream

This was originally written 9/26/2006

A friend of mine once posted on social media the following. I saw it as a dream to be interpreted and I believe that I was giving that interpretation. Now, I will state that dream interpretation is not something I typically do. I did, however, feel strong enough about this interpretation to response.

So, to give you an example of what I’ve been doing, I’ll tell you of a dream I had:

So…Meghan and me are driving home from a wrestling show on a freeway that’s a small, endless loop, with no offramps. It does have onramps however and more and more people get on the freeway. I try to tell them to stop but they get on anyway. So eventually this turns into a traffic jam. Traffic jam turns into a parking lot. I knew this was going to happen but I was mad people didn’t listen to me.

Before I can tell anybody off, all the old mexican man drivers get out of their cars stand on their hood and start pissing everywhere. More and more people are getting out of their cars standing on the hood and pissing all over the place. The asphalt was wet and shiny with urine.

Then I woke up.

This is the way I interpret your dream:

You were leaving a wrestling match, which signifies a state in your life were you are finished perusing your own endeavors in life.

You are on a small, endless loop. The small would signify your life in comparison to the rest of the world. It seems endless because you are unsure of what the future holds.

The freeway has on ramps but no off ramps—that signifies the people that come into your life. There are only on ramps because they were brought into your life for a reason, but there purpose has yet to been accomplished, that is why there are no off ramps, yet.

These people enter your life to give you something, or for you to give them something, whether it is friendship, knowledge, compassion, or whatever. I personally think that these people are brought into your life for you to give them the life-giving Words of Jesus Christ—to show them the love of the Father.

The significance of them not listening to you seems to be that you are not telling them the right thing. You are telling them to get off the freeway, but they are there for a reason. When they serve their purpose, they will leave. You are not telling them the right thing, which is why they don’t listen.

The significance of the Mexican men standing on their hood and urinating all over the place signifies what the Scripture, Proverbs 29:18 says; “Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint”. To cast off restraint would be to let loose and do whatever you want with no regard for law or civility. Urinating in public is a representation of that. Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint. I believe you are to reveal the revelation of who God is to these people in your life to prevent them from casting off all restraint. Once they receive that revelation, they can get off the freeway.

Of course, that’s just how I see it.
